This second-year BEMACS course includes topics even many master statistics courses do not include.  The course expects proficiency in theoretical background of statistical topics and application of complex theorems. For example, almost all undergraduate statistics courses include only the application of hypothesis testing, in this course students are expected to design test by using Neyman-Pearson Lemma.  Although it is a very interesting course for statistics lovers, hard exams and tough grading policy might cause repeating the course again and again.
